Over the past year, people's lives around the world have changed significantly. The effects of the pandemic are also affecting the labour market.
The main trend was the transition to remote mode of work. Therefore, the demand for specialists who know how to be effective distantly will grow. Moreover, since January 2021 in Russia a law regulating the remote format of work, came into force. This law introduced digital workbooks, as well as active testing of electronic paperwork.
At the same time, competition in the skilled labour market will increase. This is due to the fact that many companies have ceased their activities or have carried out staff reductions. While other companies consider optimization of processes and expenses (including personnel) to be a priority.
More professionals will work for several employers. Increasingly, employers need project specialists with narrow qualification and serious professional level.
The emphasis on recruitment will shift towards more experienced and versatile professionals. The list of requirements in vacancies will be lengthened, experience and digitized achievements will be a pass to the next stage of the interview, and strategic thinking and the ability to see the industry as a whole will become a serious competitive advantage.
